Jean Joyeux a eu à cœur d’entreprendre un projet colossal : traduire en vers l’entièreté de l’Évangile de Luc

                                     BIENVENUE

Ce n’est pas un hasard si vous avez atterri sur mon site. C’est l’œuvre de Dieu. Ce même Elohim qui m’a appelé à réécrire l’Évangile d’un ton sensible et passionné, c’est lui qui vous a attiré sur ma page pour qu’à mon tour je vous la transmette.

Qui que vous soyez, je vous souhaite d’y trouver votre bonheur.

Mon goût pour la lecture remonte à l’âge de 11 ans. Le rat de bibliothèque que j’étais s’est d’abord essayé aux sujets profanes. Vingt ans plus tard, l’ingénieur agronome que j’étais devenu reviendra à ses premiers amours. J’ai cédé à ma fièvre créatrice pour proclamer la Bonne Nouvelle. Elle est à la fois le sujet, la source et le but de ma poésie.

TRADUCTION EN VERS DE L'EVANGILE DE LUC : L'ENFANCE POETIQUE DU CHRIST

L’Enfance poétique du Christ est le premier tome de la tétralogie Traduction en vers de l’Évangile de Luc

DE QUOI ÇA PARLE

Laissez-vous toucher par l’incroyable récit de la venue dans la chair du Verbe de Dieu. Revivez sa naissance annoncée à Marie par l’archange Gabriel, accomplie à Bethléem, célébrée par les anges et les bergers, précédée par la naissance de Jean le Baptiste, le prophète du désert qui prépare la route au Sauveur.

Suivez le jeune Jésus en pèlerinage dans la cité sainte, prolongeant son séjour dans l’enceinte du Temple, « la maison de mon Père », et rentrant avec ses parents à Nazareth. Ce premier épisode se termine par la retraite spirituelle de Jésus en plein désert et son duel avec le Diable dont il sortit victorieux.

UN ÉVANGILE RACONTÉ AUTREMENT

La Traduction en vers de l’Evangile de Luc relate autrement l’histoire de l’évangile en recourant à l’art des vers et des rimes. Chaque mot, chaque ligne, chaque passage du texte écrit par Luc fait l’objet d’un exercice de versification rigoureux qui conserve le sens du texte source tout en laissant libre cours aux élans lyriques et romantiques.
